Hi, I'm McKenzie Palmer.

Behind the lens

I’ve had a camera in my hands for over 17 years. I’m a self-taught photographer and the fourth generation in my family to pick up a camera, so documenting life has always felt second nature to me. I’ve never been interested in making things feel overly polished or formal. I’m more drawn to the feeling of a moment and the small details that make it real.

Through Of Land and Frame, I document people, brands, and spaces in a way that feels honest and natural. I’m less interested in overly posed photos and more drawn to the in-between moments.

A lot of my work is inspired by everyday life and the beauty that already exists within it. Natural light, meaningful gatherings, worn textures, familiar spaces, connection, and emotion. Whether I’m photographing a wedding, a brand, or simply documenting a season of life, my goal is to create images that feel timeless, grounded, and true to you.
